Court of Miami recognizes Chilean liquidator of Alberto Chang's assets

The Miami Bankruptcy Court, United States, yesterday recognized Carlos Parada, as liquidator of the assets of the company Onix, Alberto Chang, in that country. "This settlement was recognized according to Chapter 15 of the American Bankruptcy Law, recognizing the liquidation that follows in Chile," Parada said from the US.

Attending the hearing were lawyers from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) who did not oppose Parade recognition.

In addition, the lawyers in Miami of Alberto Chang were in the court, who indicated that they had no problem in following through this procedure and that they have instructions from Chang "to collaborate with the newly recognized Chilean liquidator in this court."
